At just 23 years old, Pallavi Ray stands as one of Odisha’s youngest and most dynamic women entrepreneurs, fearlessly balancing the worlds of interior design, event management, academics, and dance.
She is the eldest Daughter of Mr Sandeep Kumar ray and Mrs Somali Patnaik, She is the founder of Aisha Spaces, an emerging interior designing firm based in Bhubaneswar, and Rhythm Events & Management, an end-to-end event solutions company known for its creativity and execution. What makes her entrepreneurial journey remarkable is not just her age, but the strength, clarity, and resilience with which she built her professional identity.
Pallavi hails from Baripada, Mayurbhanj, a culturally rich town in northern Odisha. Growing up, she absorbed the warmth, authenticity, and simplicity of her hometown values that later reflected in her design philosophy. She studied at St. Xavier’s High School, Baripada, where she first discovered her love for creativity, stage performance, and leadership. As a school student, she balanced academics and dance with equal passion, setting the foundation for the multitasker she would eventually become.
Her academic path led her to the SGI School of Architecture, where she studied interior design. The technical exposure she gained there sharpened her thinking and made her realize that design is more than aesthetics it is psychology, functionality, and human emotion. She later completed her diploma in architecture, strengthening her command over spatial planning. Today, she is pursuing her IMBA at BJB College, Bhubaneswar, proving that learning never stops, even when running two thriving businesses.

Pallavi’s entrepreneurial journey began when she was just 20 years old—an age when most people are still figuring out what they want to do. Instead of waiting for the “right time,” she created her own opportunity. With minimal resources but maximum courage, she launched Aisha Spaces, a firm dedicated to transforming spaces with thoughtful, customized design. Being young in a serious professional field meant that she had to work twice as hard to gain trust. But with consistent delivery, discipline, and creativity, Pallavi quickly built a client base that trusted her for her passion and precision.
Aisha Spaces stands out because Pallavi treats every project like a personal canvas. She embraces styles ranging from modern minimalism to traditional Odia aesthetics, adding emotional value to every corner she designs. Whether it’s a compact home, a luxury apartment, a commercial space, or a renovation project, she believes that design should “tell the story of the people living in it.”
While building her design career, Pallavi took another bold step launching Rhythm Events & Management. Her love for organizing cultural programs since childhood, combined with her natural leadership, shaped the foundation of this company. Today, Rhythm Events manages weddings, corporate events, fashion shows, product launches, birthdays, and cultural festivals. Pallavi’s dual expertise in design and events gives her an edge she understands ambiance, structure, colours, and emotions, making every event visually compelling and well-coordinated.
Her ability to run two different businesses simultaneously comes from her strong work ethic. Pallavi often says that entrepreneurship isn’t about being fearless, it’s about continuing with your goals even when fear and uncertainty exist. There were days when she handled back-to-back meetings, supervised event setups late at night, attended college lectures the next morning, and still found time to pursue her passion for dance. But the consistency became her superpower.
Coming from a middle-class family, Pallavi didn’t have an easy path. There were financial limitations, societal judgments, and moments where things did not go as planned. As a young woman entrepreneur, she often faced questions like “Will she be able to handle it?” or “Is she too young for this responsibility?”. Instead of getting discouraged, she used these questions as fuel. Every challenge shaped her into a stronger leader, and every failure taught her that success is never a straight line.
Pallavi’s journey also carries a message for young women your dreams don’t have to wait. Whether you are from a small town, a humble background, or starting with limited resources, what truly matters is your intention, consistency, and courage to begin. She believes that entrepreneurship is not about having everything figured out; it’s about believing in yourself enough to take that first step.
Today, Aisha Spaces is growing into a trusted name in Odisha’s interior design industry, and Rhythm Events has become a preferred partner for clients who want creativity with professionalism. Pallavi is now focused on expanding her reach across cities, collaborating with real estate developers, brands, and event planners across India.
Her vision is simple yet powerful to create spaces and experiences that inspire people. She aims to build a firm that celebrates design, culture, emotion, and innovation, while encouraging young girls from smaller towns to dream fearlessly and break the limitations society places on them.
From a 20-year-old with a dream to a 23-year-old managing two companies, Pallavi Ray’s journey proves that age is never a barrier—your passion is. She stands as a voice of modern entrepreneurship, rooted in Odia values and driven by global ambition.
