December 25 became a historic date for the Bhojpuri entertainment industry when, for the first time in the history of Bhojpuri cinema, audiences witnessed the release of the biggest web series, “Jaan Legi Sonam.” This Stage Original series will be streamed every Thursday and Friday. Breaking the boundaries of unrestrained love, obsession, and relationships, this story is set to take Bhojpuri web content to an entirely new level.
Streaming on the Stage Original OTT platform, “Jaan Legi Sonam” is a love story that presents the depth of love and its dangerous turns in a very unique manner. It is the story of Sonam, who is deeply in love with Satya. Her love is so obsessive that she does not hesitate to give her life for love—and if needed, to take a life as well. This is an untold tale of unbridled love that will keep viewers hooked till the very end. Sanyukta Roy and Golu Tiwari are in the lead roles, while Sanjay Pandey, Gaurav Pandit, and Moni Roy appear in important roles.
In the story, Sonam is a girl from a wealthy and conservative family who falls in love with Satya, a simple, sensitive, and caring boy. Satya takes care of Sonam’s every small and big emotion, because of which Sonam’s love slowly turns into obsession. But what happens after that is even more thrilling. This web series has been created and produced by Chandan Singh. Speaking about “Jaan Legi Sonam,” producer Chandan Singh claimed that this project is set to write a new chapter in the history of Bhojpuri content. He said that this is the first time Bhojpuri audiences will get to watch a web series on such a large scale, with a strong story and powerful characters. According to Chandan Singh, “Jaan Legi Sonam” is not just a love story, but a tale of unrestrained love, obsession, betrayal, and revenge that will keep audiences engaged till the end.
He further stated that the presentation, production value, and content quality of this web series will take Bhojpuri cinema to new heights on digital platforms and will prove that the Bhojpuri industry is fully prepared for big and bold content.
Notably, Parveen Singhal is serving as the Chief Content Officer, while Nidhi Mishra has taken charge as the Content Head. The Content Managers are Dharmendra Singh and Amar Dubey.
