Mumbai, November 06, 2025: Akkad Bakkad Films has unveiled the official trailer of its latest docu-drama, Pretty Homes Per Square Feet, a fresh take on Mumbai’s real estate world told through the eyes of real people, not professional actors. The official trailer releases on November 7, and the full series premieres on November 10, 2025.
Created and conceptualised by Brajesh Verma, founder of a real estate company by the same name, the series brings together individuals from within the property industry, from agents to field executives — who step in front of the camera for the first time to share the realities behind every square foot sold in Mumbai.
Directed by Amit Singh Baisla and produced by Manmohan Thakur, the project blends documentary-style realism with dramatized storytelling to capture the grit, emotion, and hustle that define the city’s housing market.
“Working with real professionals instead of actors allowed us to present stories that feel genuine and heartfelt,” said Manmohan Thakur, Producer of Pretty Homes Per Square Feet. “The aim was to maintain cinematic quality while preserving the honesty of real experiences.”
Shot professionally across real housing sites and offices, Pretty Homes Per Square Feet aims to offer audiences a raw, relatable glimpse into the lesser-seen side of Mumbai’s booming yet challenging real estate sector.
