New Delhi: The Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam International Foundation (House of Kalam, Rameswaram) has announced that Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta will grace the National Conclave “Space Mission–2025” as the chief guest on the occasion of the 94th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The three-day national event will be held from October 13 to 15, 2025, at the NCUI Auditorium and Convention Centre, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi.
Organized in collaboration with ISRO scientists, educationists, and national experts, the conclave aims to inspire the next generation of space scientists and innovators by celebrating Dr. Kalam’s scientific vision and lifelong dedication to empowering youth through science and technology. The event will bring together over a thousand students from schools, engineering colleges, and universities across India to showcase their innovative projects, research papers, and STEM models.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with Education Minister Ashish Sood, is expected to interact with students and encourage them to pursue careers in science, innovation, and research. The organizers said her presence will add great motivation and reinforce the government’s commitment to fostering scientific temperament among India’s youth.
The conclave, themed “Vision for Space Mission – Inspiring the Next Generation of Space Scientists,” will feature a National Science, Space, and Rocket Technology Exhibition highlighting India’s remarkable achievements in space research and aerospace innovation. The event will also include paper presentations, technical workshops, quizzes, and student innovation awards. Interaction sessions with ISRO scientists will offer young participants valuable exposure to cutting-edge space technologies and India’s future missions.
The first day, October 13, will host the School Conclave, where students from classes 6 to 12 will present projects on remote sensing, disaster management, and sustainable development. The second day, October 14, will feature the University Conclave for undergraduate and postgraduate students, focusing on advanced topics such as MEMS, nanotechnology, reusable spacecraft, and future energy solutions. The final day, October 15, will conclude with the grand ceremony, featuring an interaction with ISRO scientists Smt. Nigar Shaji – Project Director, Aditya-L1 Solar Mission, ISRO(confirmed)
Dr. P. Veeramuthuvel – Project Director, Chandrayaan-3 & Group Director, Spacecraft Systems Engineering Group, ISRO(confirmed), the Innovation Awards presentation, and a cultural tribute dedicated to Dr. Kalam’s life and vision.
Schools and colleges have been invited to nominate their students through the official Google registration form by October 3, 2025. Students are required to manage their own travel arrangements, while accommodation will be provided at subsidized rates. Presentations must be delivered within seven minutes in PowerPoint format.
Continuing a national tradition, the Hon’ble President of India will also offer floral tributes to Dr. Kalam’s portrait at Rashtrapati Bhavan on October 15, marking his birth anniversary as a day of scientific inspiration and national remembrance. The organizers stated that “Space Mission–2025” is more than an event — it is a movement to realize Dr. Kalam’s dream of a technologically advanced and self-reliant India, igniting the scientific spirit in the minds of future generations.
