Popular television host turned actor Ratan Pratap is on the road to recovery after being hospitalized for typhoid fever during a recent trip to Pench National Park, Nagpur.
The 2022 Dadasaheb Phalke International Film & TV Award recipient was rushed to a private hospital, where he was treated under the care of intensive care specialist Dr. Utkarsh Shah. According to Dr. Shah, Ratan remained under observation for four days and has now been discharged in stable condition. “He is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery with continued rest,” Dr. Shah confirmed.
Ratan Pratap expressed his gratitude to fans and well-wishers for their outpouring of support following news of his illness. “I am truly humbled by the love I received on social media. It motivated me to get back on my feet sooner. I am currently at home, following my doctor’s advice, and will resume my shoots once I am fully recovered,” the actor said.
Best known as the host of dance reality show- India Dance Week, Ratan is now preparing for his acting debut in an upcoming OTT series penned by writer Abhinandan Sridhar.
