Mumbai recently witnessed an evening filled with divine and spiritual energy when renowned singer Shibani Kashyap invited Guru Maa Karishma Shetty to her residence to host a sacred Shiv Sang. This was not just a religious ritual, but a deep expression of devotion and gratitude towards the Guru who gave her life direction, voice, and the essence of inner energy.

Shibani Kashyap’s bond with Guru Maa is not new. She openly shared that she has been connected with Guru Maa since 2019, and it is this guidance that has brought her to where she stands today.

She said,

“I have worked hard, but the path, the energy, the stability that came into my life—was only possible through Guru Maa’s blessings. She gave me not only mental clarity but also spiritual strength, helping me balance both my career and personal life.”

The grand gathering was attended by several devotees, practitioners, and Shibani’s close ones. The moment Guru Maa entered the house, the atmosphere turned enchanting. She was welcomed with traditional Vedic rituals including flower showers, conch blowing, and sacred chants.

At the entrance, Guru Maa’s feet were ceremonially washed with Charnamrit prepared with milk, honey, saffron, basil, Ganga water, and rose water—symbolizing devotion and surrender. All present disciples performed the ritual and received her blessings individually.

The Shiv Sang began with the Shiv Tandav Stotra and Rudrabhishek chants. Guru Maa then guided everyone on the essence of Shiva, the importance of spiritual practice, and awakening divine energy in today’s times. She explained why balancing strength and stability is essential in the modern world.

Praising Shibani Kashyap’s dedication and consistent practice, Guru Maa Karishma Shetty said,

“Music is not just about melodies, it is the outpouring of the soul. When it connects with spiritual practice and Shiva’s essence, it becomes both creation and meditation. Shibani’s journey proves that when a disciple practices with sincerity, the Guru’s blessings stabilize them on every stage of life.”

Shibani also honored Guru Maa with silken attire, a floral garland, a Rudraksha mala, and a symbolic gift of ‘Naad Brahma’, representing the union of her devotion and music.

The Shiv Sang was not merely a spiritual gathering but a living testimony to the Guru–disciple tradition, where devotion, practice, and values together shape the journey of life. Shibani Kashyap’s initiative stands as an inspiration for all seekers in search of a true guide.

Concluding the evening, Guru Maa Karishma Shetty shared a profound message:

“A Guru is not a person, but a flame. Once it is lit within you, the darkness automatically disappears.”
